Run for the Roosters 5k and  1-mile Fun Run/Walk
DATE, TIME, PLACE: Sunday evening, June 6, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. Start and finish at the Newport City Park.
COURSE DESCRIPTION: Certified out and back course from the Newport City Park. Fast and flat.
REGISTRATION AND FEES: Participants may pre-register or sign up the day of the race from 5:00 p.m. until race.
PRE-REGISTRATION (POSTMARKED BY 5/31/2010):
5K - $15.00
1-mile fun run/walk - $10.00
students (18 & under) : 5K - $12.00; 1-mile fun run/walk - $8.00

LATE REGISTRATION (AFTER 5/31/2010)
5K - $20.00
1-mile fun run/walk - $13.00
students (18 & under) : 5K - $15.00; 1-mile fun run/walk - $10.00


T-SHIRTS: t-shirts guaranteed to all pre-registered runners/walkers and while supplies last to late registrants.
AWARDS: awards to male and female age categories, three deep (Age Categories: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over); Top male and female Overall, Masters, and Grand Masters; Ribbons for all fun run/walk participants.
